About Us

Daventry is one of Northern Virginia's most desirable neighborhoods.

Daventry features a variety of home styles. Most of its 512 spacious two, three, and four bedroom colonial style town homes back to woods, and almost all have garages. Its 212 elegant three, four, and five bedroom single-family homes are situated on gently rolling hills, surrounded by mature trees. Ramblewood at Daventry's 160 condominium units offer both convenience and affordability.

Daventry's common property is open for use by all members. It includes walking paths that join an extensive network of paths owned by Fairfax County and four tot lots equipped with swing sets, slides, and climbing equipment for children. The community features a large outdoor swimming pool complex, two tennis courts and a multipurpose court. An elegantly decorated community center is available for both community and private events.

The Daventry area is served by West Springfield Elementary School, which is located immediately adjacent to the community, and Keene Mill Elementary School's Gifted and Talented Center. Nearby Washington Irving Intermediate School and West Springfield High School serve the educational needs of community junior high and high school students. Daventry parental support at all three schools is robust - every school function is well attended by Daventry parents, who occupy a substantial portion of PTA leadership positions.

Daventry offers easy access to the Springfield Metro Station, Interstate 95, the Fairfax County Parkway and the Virginia Railway Express. An official carpool staging area servicing the Daventry-Pentagon route is within walking distance of much of the community.

The South Run Recreation Center, featuring an indoor pool, a wide variety of exercise equipment and many programs and lessons for both adults and children, is only four miles away. A variety of shopping venues, including the Springfield Mall, are located just a few miles from Daventry.

The very active Daventry Homeowners Association constantly pursues recreational, landscaping, safety and property appearance initiatives that both enhance residents' quality of life and preserve community property values. Daventry is a community that cares, and a great place to live.
