Vision: Daventry is a village, a notable island of community spirit amidst the Washington metropolitan area. Daventry residents enjoy excellent volunteer and professional service and a strong sense of community. Its Board, Committees, and Management professionals strive to maintain and improve the quality of life in Daventry

Daventry Community Association is a non-stock, nonprofit corporation operating under Virginia Law, Title 55, Chapter 26, "Property Owners' Association Act." The Board of Directors manages the Association. It comprises one elected unpaid representative representing each of the seven numbered neighborhoods within Daventry. The Neighborhood VII Director represents Ramblewood Condominium Association, which shares common property with Daventry.

Candidates for the Daventry Board of Directors must be resident homeowners in good standing. Each Director is elected for a two-year term, beginning in January of the year following election. The odd- and even-numbered neighborhoods elect their Directors by secret ballot before the end of October of the odd- and even-numbered years, respectively. Each January, the Board of Directors elects the officers of the Association, from its board membership, to serve a one-year term

The Board of Directors meets monthly on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm in the Daventry Community Building, 7721 Painted Daisy Drive, to carry out its maintenance, planning, financial management, rules enforcement and appeal responsibilities. Each meeting begins with an open forum during which any member may speak to the Board members as a group.

The Board also reserves the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 for additional meetings as needed to conduct the affairs of the Association. All meetings are open to the Daventry Community Association members, homeowners or lessees residing in Daventry living units.
