MANAGEMENT COMPANY - Please call Mr. Don Mazzei, Community Manager, with any questions about Daventry or to report any concerns. To discuss current policy, please call your neighborhood board representative.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETINGS - The Board of Directors meets the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm in the Community Center. Any member who wishes to address the Board should call the Community Manager the week before the Board meeting to be placed on the agenda. Members who sign up in advance will have up to 10 minutes to speak. Members are requested to submit a Position Paper and supporting documentation to help the Board respond to your concern. All Board and committee meetings are open to all residents. The Board of Directors has created a "Residents Forum" at the start of each regularly scheduled board meeting from 6:30 - 6:45pm. During the Residents Forum, members may address the Board on any subject without being on the agenda. (Note that the Board may defer a decision for further information.) Members will sign in and be heard on a first-come, first-served basis. Each member may have up to 3 minutes to speak. The President may extend or shorten the forum depending on the number of speakers and the length of the regular agenda.

ATTENTION RAMBLEWOOD RESIDENTS - Ramblewood has some regulations which differ from the rest of Daventry. Residents should refer to their Board of Directors or Ramblewood Newsletter for information on items such as trash removal, pets, parking, and towing.

ATTENTION MEMBERS WHO RENT THEIR UNITS: It is your responsibility, not the Community Manager's, to give your tenants a copy of the Daventry Rules and Regulations.

DISCLOSURE PACKETS - Home sellers and brokers should contact Cardinal Management at 703-569-5797 x5005 to obtain the Daventry Community Association Disclosure Packet for their clients. Disclosure statements, which are now mandatory as of July 1, 1997, are provided pursuant to Section 55-511, 512 of the Virginia Property Owners' Association Act. The Association will provide this statement to the seller of a lot within fourteen (14) days of receiving a written request and after payment of the appropriate fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00). Ramblewood members must also obtain a disclosure packet from the master association ($50.00) along with a packet from your association.

PRE-DISCLOSURE FREE INSPECTION - To assist the owner in the selling of their home, when you list your home, you may call the Community Manager to do a "Pre-Disclosure Packet" Inspection at 703-569-5797 x5005. This will give the owner the opportunity to close any outstanding issue(s) that would be listed in the packet prior to a contract being placed on your home.

MONTHLY ASSOCIATION DUES - New homeowners should contact Cardinal Management to arrange for payment coupons or to ask about your account. Do not put your payments in the pool mailbox.

Our management company offers you the convenience of having your association dues automatically paid every month via direct debit. An automatic funds transfer (EFT) will occur on each regularly scheduled due date for your assessment in the exact amount that is due. The Direct Debit form is posted here in Adobe .pdf format. You may fax this form back to Cardinal Management at 703-866-3156 or email to Jessica in Cardinal Management's Accounting Dept. as an attachment. Call Jessica at 703-569-5797, ext. 5023 if you have any questions.

The deadline for the forms is the 10th of the current month. For example, if you sent in your form by the 10th of January you will be set up for the February payment. You will receive written notification that you are set up. Please ensure if you are a landlord that you give Cardinal your correct billing address.

CERTIFICATION OF RESIDENCY - The Management Company must be provided a copy of the HUD Settlement Statement before coupons can be issued. It is the responsibility of the new homeowner to supply this document to management.

TRASH/RECYCLING - Trash Away Inc.

    Yard Debris Pick-up: Monday
    Trash Removal: Tuesday and Friday
    Recycle: Friday
Trash and recyclables may be placed outside no earlier than dusk on the evening prior to trash collection day. Trash carts and recycling bins must be taken in after pick-up on pick-up day. Trash must be secured in a closed/sealed bag, or placed in a trash can with a tight-fitting lid, in order to prevent spillage. No exposed waste is permitted since it attracts animals, pests and birds.

For any bulk pick-up items such as old appliances, mattresses, or exercise equipment, call Trash-Away at 703-838-9010 and ask for Jennifer. They will schedule a pick-up date. Residents are responsible for payment of any special pick-up of large items.

Solicitors - Please report any solicitors to Charyl Ferguson at Cardinal Management via email at c.ferguson@cmgmt.com. Please be sure to include company name and any other pertinent contact information.

TOWNHOME MAILBOXES - The Postal Service requests that each family place their name on the inside of their mailbox at the rear and that nothing be attached to the outside of the box.

TENNIS COURT KEYS - Contact the Community Manager for information at 703-569-5797 x5005.
