Fall is here, and what a beautiful time of year! Some of our clubs have taken a summer break, so it will be nice to reconnect with old neighbors & friends as we get back into the swing of things

NAOMI PROJECT
This is a mentor program that seeks moms with heart! Would you welcome the opportunity to make a difference in the life of a pregnant woman? Do you have what it takes to help other women plan for healthy pregnancies and stable futures? Do you have ~ 4 hours each month to share? Visit their website at www.naomiproject.org. Please join your neighbors in selling AND buying at our Community Yard Sale - October 11 @ 8am to 1pm. Spread the word!

SUMMERFEST
Our Summerfest was on Saturday, June 21st! It was a gorgeous day, and everyone seemed to have loads of fun! Thanks to everyone who came out for some fun!
ICE CREAM SOCIAL
Our Ice Cream Social was on Tuesday, July 1st. Thanks to the swim team for sponsoring this yummy event!
ADULT PARTY
What a fantastic party! I was so proud of our community when I saw everyone working together to make this event so special. The pot luck food was delicious! A special thanks to the Garden Club girls who took charge of the decorating, Janet McKinnon, Janet Quinn, Dru Kewitt. And a special thanks to Eric Rice for stepping up and providing a mix of music that kept everyone grooving into the night. I also want to thank the Rec Committee members for making this event so enjoyable. Many hands make light work ?
UPCOMING PARTIES!
HARVEST HAUNT
Come out to the Community Room for this spooky event! Izzy and her pals will be creating a haunted pool house, with kiddy friendly viewings every 30 min: Snacks, games, fun! Saturday, Oct 25 from 1pm - 5pm.
DAVENTRY DOG DAY
Join us for this new event! Daventry dog lovers, their pooches, and everyone else are welcome to join us in the parking lot at the pool on November 15 @ 2pm - 4pm. We'll have the parking lot blocked off so that dogs / neighbors can mingle outside... Meet your dog loving neighbors! All are welcome, even those who don’t have dogs and would like to learn about the different breeds. Info about neighborhood watch, dog waste cleanup, and dog rescue will all be available. Rain date, November 16, same time.
WINTERFEST
Come join us on December 6 @ 1pm - 5pm. Pony rides, moonbounce, crafts, food/drink and Santa will also be there too!
NEIGHBORHOOD REPRESENTATIVES:
Welcome Kawtar Sibera, she has joined our team from Neighborhood IV! She is also the leader for our New Dog Club!
We would still like to get a representative from Neighborhood ONE. This is a great way to meet people and become an active member of your community! We have a fun group of people and would love to welcome more!
The Recreation Committee meets every 3rd Wednesday @ 7pm (Community Room). All are welcome and we could use your help! PLEASE come and help plan & organize events for our community.
